Our  main goal is VERSATILITY.  We have hunted our wirehairs on a variety of upland game, ducks and geese.  We want a dog that thinks, is biddable, yet meets our requirements as a family companion.  As our family grew we found the Wires adapted well to becoming part of the family, being both protective of our children yet willing to play or simply hang out for a nap with a tired youngster.

When not hunting we enjoy and successfully participate in conformation shows, obedience trials and AKC Hunt Tests. The dogs from our kennels have earned a wide range of titles showing their versatile heritage. We are happy to show off our dogs and welcome visitors.
